In 2016, Geo-Jade, together with other domestic investors, completed the acquisition of Bankers Petroleum and delisted it from both the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

The acquisition of Bankers Petroleum by Geo-Jade, in collaboration with other domestic investors, reflects Geo-Jade's commitment to building an international energy platform in partnership with Chinese institutional investors.

The existing infrastructure can produce up to 30,000 barrels per day without additional investment.

Bankers Petroleum has made significant progress in enhanced oil recovery techniques using thermal methods, laying the foundation for larger-scale thermal recovery technologies.

Plans are in place to deploy two rigs for development, with a target peak production of approximately 12,000 barrels per day by around 2032.
