Land Restoration After Oilfield Exploration

After oilfield exploration concludes, we restore the land to a condition close to its original state. Waste Management

Our waste management actions focus on the key areas of gas treatment and emission control, wastewater management, and sludge treatment:

Gas Treatment and Emission Control:

• Reduce harmful gas emissions and explore the reuse of waste gases.

• Implement advanced emission control technologies and optimize processes, such as installing gas recovery systems and improving combustion efficiency.

• Use advanced monitoring equipment to continuously track gas emissions, ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations, and transparently report gas emission data.

• Explore the potential for waste gas reuse by converting it into energy or other useful products.

Wastewater Management and Treatment:

• Minimize wastewater generation and ensure that all discharged wastewater is treated to strict standards.

• Invest in advanced wastewater treatment equipment to ensure that treatment meets or exceeds regulatory standards.

• Actively promote wastewater recycling and reuse programs, utilizing treated wastewater for non-potable purposes such as irrigation and industrial cooling.

• Aim to reduce the pollutant content in wastewater by using advanced treatment technologies and optimizing chemical use.

Sludge Treatment:

• Use methods such as biodegradation and phytoremediation to treat sludge and turn it into environmentally harmless materials.

• Effectively reduce the negative environmental impact of sludge, contributing positively to environmental protection and sustainable development.

Measures to Address Environmental Incidents

• Strong Focus on Environmental Risk Management: We prioritize systematic measures to prevent and address potential environmental incidents, while assessing and managing the environmental risks associated with our operations. As we promote energy development, we are also committed to fulfilling our environmental responsibilities and protecting our shared planet.

• Comprehensive Emergency Response Mechanism: To effectively respond to potential environmental incidents such as leaks or oil spills, Geo-Jade has established a comprehensive emergency response mechanism. In the event of an incident, we can quickly take action to minimize environmental impact. Our response measures include, but are not limited to, site isolation, pollution control, and cleanup and restoration of affected environments. Investigating the root causes of incidents is a key part of our response process, aimed at preventing similar incidents from happening in the future.

• Regular Emergency Drills: We also conduct regular emergency drills to ensure that all relevant personnel are familiar with emergency procedures and can act swiftly and effectively when needed.
